Family trees
Deneice Day did a lot of work creating a family tree for the Henry Lee descendants. The one linked to below was created in 2003 and is out of date. I will try to post revisions as they are shared with me using the Contact Form on this site or directly on the document (directions below). Thanks Deneice for her hard work!
**IMPORTANT WEBSITE CHANGE** Wise internet users know that personal information on the internet should be protected as much as possible. The family tree document is just too private to make accessible to the terrible spambots in the world. Therefore, the link will now make you request access to the document before viewing it. You will need an active email address or active Google account.

Ancestor Charts
This site also has about 80 'Family Group Sheets' created by Aunt Bobbie. There is a link to them on my photo collections page.
Valerie Hudson is working on an online book of heritage information and pictures. You can download a graphic showing the ancestry pages of Annie Lee and Henry Lee Martin from this page or from the bottom of the Photo Albums page. Ancestry chart and pictures of Annie Lee Martin and Henry Lee Martin were created by Valerie Hudson.
I've been getting more questions about Great, Great, Grandad Henry Hillard Martin and his Civil War history. Some of the documents, research sites and scanned media that I've collected are available from this GoogleDoc collection about Henry Hillard Martin. (This link will eventually require the same request process as detailed above.)

Henry Hillard Martin
Henry Hillard was born in Pike County, Alabama in 1800. The family spent some time there. A jumping-off place for your research might be the FamilySearch site for Pike County. An older, but possibly still useful site would be the US Gen Web project for Pike County. At some point, Henry moved to the west edge of Alabama and was farming in Sumter County. He joined the Confederate army with neighbors from Sumter County and returned there after the war.
Research Tools
Ancestry.com - Wonderful resource, if you have an extra couple hundred bucks to throw at them. Many online documents and very helpful people with customer support. If you already own a subscription, I'd love to beg for a few more searches. :)

The 5th Alabama Infantry Muster Roll. I got this file from Ken Jones and am posting it as a pdf file. Your browser will either download it or view it in a window.
