This website is a collection of facts and photos about the Martin Family. Much of the genealogical information was collected by Aunt Bobbie for many years. While doing some of my research a few years ago, I was surprised to find one of her genealogy pages on another family's website since there was a shared ancestor. Aunt Bobbie provided a huge service by recording what she found. If you want to see her original work, contact me or the family to find out where her records currently reside.
I have since borrowed boxes of photos and information from other family members and was overwhelmed at the depth of history collected and organized by Aunt Bobbie. My goal of going farther back in history has been sidelined by my efforts to try to preserve and share much of what I have seen. This website contains much that has been created by others and, hopefully, it will continue to grow with my research and the work of others still hitting our family history trail. Again, I do not take credit for much of the research seen on these pages. If you bump into this site in your quest for family history, pull up a stool and stay a while. This is slowly becoming part museum and part family research tool. If you share some common links with our tree, visit the Contact page and say 'Hi'. If you have questions about what you see here, contact me. I'm not the authority on the subject, but maybe I can help. The links on the side provide access to the photo albums, family tree pages, and current Martin links. Enjoy your stay and God bless! Howard Martin (revised 2020) |
